Carrot purée

Carrot purée

  • Makes: 1 portion

Ingredients

  • 2 Carrots
  • 100ml of breast milk, standard infant formula or a specialized low potassium, low phosphate feed (as advised by your dietitian)

Method

  1. Peel 2 carrots.

  2. Chop carrots into small pieces.

  3. Boil carrots until soft (10-12 minutes).

  4. Drain water and allow carrots to cool.

  5. Add breast milk, standard infant formula or a specialised low potassium, low phosphate feed (as advised by your dietitian).

  6. Use a blender to whizz up to a purée consistency.

  7. Add more milk if a thinner consistency required.

  8. Use straight away or add in to ice cube trays.
